No, we do not offer bursaries but we do get corporates
that are willing to sponsor students based on their

with the minimum requirements/criteria. We also accept students with bursary from different companies.

Do you offer short courses for baking?
- Yes, depending on your skills level or your interest. NDS Chefs Academy does offer variety of short courses.
- For school learners who are between the age of 4-18 we
have the holiday programmes only
Does your academy have student accommodation?
No, but there is student accommodation available in the area close to our campus in Vanderbijlpark.
Do you offer a diploma in Food Preparation and Culinary Arts?
Yes we do and it’s a three year qualification.

Can one get a job after completing the three-year course?
Yes, our dedicated students find jobs after completing their studies because they have done their work place experience whilst studying and have work experience when they apply for positions. It should be noted that students’ performance during workplace training is what will help the student secure employment.
What accreditations does the college have?
NDS Chefs Academy is a City and Guilds Approved institution and accredited by QCTO (Quality Council of Trade & Occupations) and CATHSSETA (Culture, Art, Tourism, Sports, Sector of Education and Training Authority) as well as approved by the Department of Higher Education.
NDS Chefs Academy is also affiliated with the South African Chefs Association. The qualifications offered provide the students with worldwide exposure and the students stand a chance to be employed anywhere in the world. We are proud to say we offer State of the Art Qualifications.
