Before you start

Prepare electronic copies of your documents before you begin. Accepted upload format on the application form is PDF.

NB: Where a document must be certified, upload a clear certified copy. Incomplete applications or missing documents may delay processing.

Documents you will need

• Certified copy of your ID or passport
• Certified copy of ID/passport of the person responsible for fees
• Certified copy of your latest results
• Certified copy of highest grade passed certificate / report
• Proof of residence
• Proof of medical aid (if available)
• ID/passport copy of parent or spouse (if applicable)
• Certified SAQA certificate (non–South African applicants)
• Certified study permit (if you are not a South African citizen)
• Proof of payment — use the banking details below and your Name & Surname as reference

NDS online application — step by step

1. Step 1: Click “Start online application” below to open the application portal.
2. Step 2: Create an applicant account (or sign in if you already have one), then continue to the application form.
3. Step 3: Capture your personal / biographical information and save to proceed.
4. Step 4: Enter your residential address and contact details (cell number and email).
5. Step 5: Select your Faculty, Programme and Qualification (one study choice).
6. Step 6: Capture the person responsible for fees (next of kin / account payer details).
7. Step 7: Provide emergency contact information.
8. Step 8: Complete educational background, languages and health declarations.
9. Step 9: Upload all required supporting documents (PDF). Prepare certified copies where indicated.
10. Step 10: Write your motivational letter, accept the declaration, and submit your application.
11. Step 11: Keep your proof of payment and a copy of any confirmation you receive for your records.
