Do you offer bursaries or scholarships?
We do not offer our own bursaries, but corporates sometimes sponsor students based on passion for the industry—advertised on social media when available. We also accept students who have bursaries from other companies.
Do you offer short courses for baking?
Short course offerings change over time. Please contact us or follow our social channels for current short course topics and dates.
Does your academy have student accommodation?
We don’t provide on-site accommodation, but there is student accommodation available in the area close to our campus in Vanderbijlpark.
Do you offer a diploma in Food Preparation and Culinary Arts?
Yes. It is a three-year qualification.

Can one get a job after completing the three-year course?
Yes. Dedicated students often find employment after their studies because they complete workplace experience while studying and therefore have practical experience when applying for positions.
What accreditations does the college have?
NDS Chefs Academy is a City & Guilds approved institution and accredited by QCTO (Quality Council for Trades & Occupations) and CATHSSETA. We are also affiliated with the South African Chefs Association. Qualifications can offer worldwide exposure and employment opportunities locally and abroad.
